Fire cooking demonstration classes are back by popular demand!

Our third installment is focused on Wild Fire! Spring is a perfect time to combine the skills of fire cookery and foraged food. Our chef will teach you how to start a cooking fire, the nuances of the cooking fire, and how to cook each wild PNW item. You will take the full recipes home with you.

Fire cooking classes are back by popular demand!

The second class in our series is one in which we look at some of the more unconventional ways to use your grill. This is whimsical, trendy and fun approach to something as primitive as fire cookery and prepared with a 2025 grill master in mind. The recipes might be new, but the techniques to achieve them are as old as time. Let our chef show you how to be both hip and timeless. Join us for class and lunch!

Do you have garments that need some attention, but are lacking the tools to fix a hole, re-attach a button, or sew on a patch? Bring your garments and come sew with us! We’ll have needles and thread, a selection of buttons, embroidery floss and hoops, Sashiko stencils, scraps of fabric, and scissors.

Loneliness Epidemic. Y’all heard of this? If you’re in Seattle, it’s likely more visceral than a rumor. In 2023, the @u.s.surgeongeneral released a report finding that this lack of connection can increase the risk of premature death comparable to smoking 15 cigarettes a day. The current news cycle can’t help much these feelings of isolation, and it’s easy to withdraw further into your tech as a result.

This coming Friday is a day where couples descend upon restaurants for a romantic evening to celebrate their love. It’s typically a turning point for the hospitality industry every year because it marks the point at which people actually start going out again after the holidays and the ever dreaded “dry” January. It only gets better from here, we think 😉.

Well, this time on Valentine’s Day we want to celebrate with ALL of you. But, we especially want to prioritize the single people, the groups of single people, the parties of 3, 5 or 7. So, we’re not accepting reservations. If you don’t have a date this Friday, know that you’ve got a spot at our bar. There’ll be a special treat for guests in odd-numbered groups. We hope to see you, and when we do, we hope you’re having a blast and talking to a new friend.

Join us for an in-person crafting session to make valentines! This is a self-directed event, so there’s no instruction. We’ll provide paper, vintage ephemera, scissors, glue, tape, and other materials to create mailable valentines. Each participant will also get one domestic postage stamp to mail their creation! Feel free to bring any other materials you might like to use or share.
