In this two hour workshop you will design and make your own unique bookmark using a variety of materials and techniques. We’re offering two different date options - you only need to select one to complete your bookmark.

Together we will move step-by-step through the three part workshop, taking time to make design decisions, choose materials and stop for snacks.

Your bookmark will begin as a card template which you will cover with fabric. A range of fabrics from Studio Arby’s and Celine Waldmann’s collections will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own.

We will then hand stitch both ends using a blanket stitch before neatly covering the back (and all our loose ends) with paper.

Participants will be encouraged to be creative with their decoration and examples of layering fabric and collaging motifs will be shared. The intention is of course to leave with something that is yours and there are no rules. 

This workshop is open to all abilities and offers a relaxed opportunity to work with your hands, chat with fellow book lovers and make something you will love using.
